Harrison, West Harrison and Purchase: One Government
Harrison is both a town and a village — one combined Town/Village government. Its sections include downtown Harrison, West Harrison and Purchase. All three are served by the same building department.
The Town/Village of Harrison Building Department is at 1 Heineman Place, (914) 670-3050. That is the Town/Village's number, not ours — our number is (914) 474-1951. We pull the permits for the work we do through this department, whether the house is in Harrison, West Harrison or Purchase.
Every Permit Application Goes to the Architectural Review Board
Harrison has an Architectural Review Board of seven members appointed by the Town Board. Under the code, the Building Inspector sends the Board a copy of every building permit application, with design plans showing the building elevations, facade details, colors, materials and configuration.
The practical point for an addition is that the elevations, materials and colors need to be decided and drawn before the application goes in, not after. The Board is not a step you can add later — it sees the application at the start. That is why an addition in Harrison should begin with the outside of the house settled, not just the inside.
For an interior-only kitchen or bathroom remodel, tell the Building Department how it is handled — we do not guess. We find out before we draw anything. Read more on our permits and licensing page.

We hold a Westchester County Home Improvement License, number WC-33098-H20, and we pull the permits for the work we do through the Town/Village department. We do not start the work before the permit is in place.
What We Do in Harrison
We do four things, all residential, and we work in all three sections — Harrison, West Harrison and Purchase: kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, home additions, and home remodeling. Our projects start at $40,000, and we do not do handyman work or small repairs.
Anthony Quattrone has more than 40 years of experience and is on the job himself. The estimates are free, and the work carries a one-year warranty. If your project is a full kitchen, a full bathroom, an addition, or a multi-room renovation, call us or request a free estimate.
Where We Work
We work in Westchester County, New York, and only there. Harrison is one of the towns we serve.
